The mass migration of the world’s poor into the United States is costing the US taxpayers 57.4 billion a year. We are not the nannies of the world. Trump’s plan bars welfare dependent immigrants from getting permanent residence in this country.
This country just went through eight years of economic pain (For US taxpayers anyway). There’s no sense continuing that streak. Imagine if we cut off funding for both legal and illegal aliens and used that money to pay off debt. Or at least pay it down. Trump’s merit-based system is our best bet. Not only would they not need our assistance, they would actually be contributing to our country.
As Breitbart News reported, the Trump administration is set to roll out a plan in the next month that bars foreign nationals who need government welfare in order to live from resettling in the U.S. Such a ban on welfare importation through immigration has been eyed by the Trump White House since February.
Such a plan would be a boon for American taxpayers, who currently spend about $57.4 billion a year on paying for the welfare, crime, and schooling costs of the country’s mass importation of 1.5 million new, mostly low skilled legal immigrants every year. In the last decade, the U.S. has imported more than 10 million foreign nationals and is on track to import the same amount in the coming decade if legal immigration controls are not implemented.
Research has proven immigrants use 60% more food stamps than native born Americans. As well as consuming 33% more welfare cash than native born Americans. This country has always been a beacon for those who want to better themselves through hard work, not through welfare.
Redistribution of wealth is not who we are as a people.
