Former President Donald Trump delivered a scathing critique of President Biden’s foreign policy, expressing his concern that once Iran acquires nuclear weapons, Biden will be compelled to plead for mercy from Iran. In a post on Truth Social, Trump warned that Iran is rapidly amassing a significant nuclear arsenal.
He asserted that negotiations would cease when Iran achieves nuclear capabilities, predicting Biden’s response: “Once they have them, which will be soon, all negotiations STOP. That’s when our incompetent fool of a President will drop to his knees and beg IRAN for mercy. ‘Please, Please, Please, Mr. Ayatollah, SIR, I will give you everything, I will do anything you demand. Don’t hurt us!'” Trump accused Biden of putting the country in this precarious position.
Trump also claimed that Iran was behind the recent attacks on Israel by the Palestinian terror group Hamas. Israel responded with a massive counteroffensive, launching airstrikes in Gaza. While President Biden stated that there is currently no evidence linking Iran to Hamas’ attacks, he warned Iran not to interfere in the ongoing conflict.
Iran has a history of supporting Hamas, but there is no specific evidence that they directly planned the attacks. National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications, John Kirby, acknowledged Iran’s role in supporting Hamas but stated there was no definitive proof of their involvement in planning the attacks.
