Reporters found Tucker Carlson upbeat and happy on a Tuesday night in Florida. Recently, Fox News terminated his employment.
Carlson’s prime-time show reportedly dominated cable news ratings for years, but he doesn’t seem to care that his departure is still making headlines, as reported by the daily. The reasons for his departure and his future plans were still mysteries to many.
On Tuesday, Carlson said he was only going to talk about his “future plans” as far as what he was having for dinner, which was “appetizers and an entree.” It would be the first weeknight dinner out for him and Susan since the debut of his Fox show.
A joke from Carlson: “I haven’t had a weeknight dinner with my wife in seven years.” This retirement thing is great thus far!
On Monday morning, the world learned that Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson had been fired. It seems like Carlson was just as shocked as the rest of us.
After Friday’s story about the pizza guy who caught the carjacker, “Tucker Carlson Tonight” host Tucker Carlson announced his comeback to the show on Monday.
However, according to the Wall Street Journal, the decision to terminate Carlson was reached by Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott and Fox Corp CEO Lachlan Murdoch on Friday night. However, the popular presenter didn’t find out about the decision until only 10 minutes before it was announced.
On Monday, the station began airing “Fox News Tonight” live. Nothing has been announced to replace “Fox & Friends” once Brian Kilmeade leaves the show at 8 p.m. EST.
