Tori Bowie, a three-time Olympian on the track and field team for the United States, has gone away. She was now 32 years old.

Bowie’s body was reportedly found in Florida on Tuesday, as reported by TMZ. The reason for passing away was never disclosed.
When Bowie was a young girl, her grandma took care of her. This led to her placement with a foster home. She was encouraged to give track a shot as an adolescent in her native state of Mississippi. She took off like a rocket and eventually became valedictorian of her high school class. She attended Southern Miss after finishing high school and, according to ESPN, “swept the NCAA long jump championships” that same year.
Bowie medaled in three events at the 2016 Olympics in Rio: the 100- and 200-meter sprints.
Bowie won two gold medals at the 2017 World Athletics Championships thanks to his dominance in the 100-meter and 4×100-meter relay events.
There was an outpouring of tributes to Bowie on the internet soon after his death.

Bowie won several Olympic and world titles. Her contributions to the sport were invaluable, and she will be sorely missed.
In a tweet, the USOC said, “We join our friends at USA Track & Field and the rest of the Olympic community in mourning Tori Bowie’s death.”
They said, “She was a well-liked friend and teammate, and she was a great representative of Team USA.” The people who knew and loved her have our deepest sympathy.
