Stellantis employee and UAW member Kym Dieselberg expressed her disappointment with President Joe Biden’s handling of the auto industry and subsidies for electric vehicles during an interview on NewsNation’s “On Balance.” Dieselberg mentioned that she had voted for Biden but wouldn’t do so again because she felt he hadn’t followed through on promises.
When asked if she believed auto companies were being less generous with workers because of the massive subsidies they receive for electric vehicles, Dieselberg agreed, stating that the government funding made it easier for companies to be stingier with workers, which she believed was wrong.
