The ladies of The View were discussing the 10 Commandments and one merely said Jesus’ name and this, according to the powers-that-be behind the show, warranted a “bleep”.
Yes, folks… they bleeped out Jesus’ name. I thought that was reserved for curse words and the like?
Are Hollywood types so “sensitive” to other peoples feelings, or rather what they deem their feelings, that they have to BLEEP OUT JESUS’ NAME?!
Paula Farris said My parents were really strict about what we said in the home. We couldn’t say, ‘Oh, my God.’ We couldn’t say J.C., we couldn’t say Je- (bleeped out) … My son, we could say ‘Jeez’ … unless you were praising him, and then you could say, (bleeped out).”

As reported by Brandon Morse for Red State:
Perhaps it’s because they didn’t want to offend other viewers who might not quite fall in with Christian beliefs?
That could very well be likely. Saying Christ’s name doesn’t seem to go over well with many groups, be they political activist groups here in America, or religious fanatics whose prophet isn’t known for being forgiving. They may have silenced the name of Jesus in an effort to be “sensitive.”
Or it could be that The View doesn’t want to run afoul of the Google overlords who have been cracking down on YouTube content in order to be more “advertiser-friendly.” With all the inane reasons for demonetization and censorship happening on YouTube, it’s not outside the realm of possibility that the name of Jesus would be on the list of things too sensitive to talk about openly.
………………………..
Your guess is as good as mine as to what truly went through their heads that thought this was warranted. I mean… are their viewer’s such snowflakes that they can’t handle a woman talking about her Christian upbringing?
And that’s at the heart of the matter, isn’t it?
Perhaps I’m overreacting? She was speaking in the context of taking the Lord’s name in vain, right?
