What Sarah Palin Said About McCain’s Betrayal Is EPIC

Many of you can remember when John Mccain selected Sarah Palin to be his running mate.

His campaign was sinking faster than a lead balloon, but it got a major jolt when Sarah Palin joined the ticket, She was so much more popular than McCain and they were a mere two points behind going into the national convention. McCain’s lackluster performance at the convention became the theme for his campaign. Today she is still extremely popular and John McCain isn’t… except with Democrats.

Palin has now responded to McCain’s book. She says that reading that he regretted picking her was like a perpetual punch in the stomach. She says that many times McCain has apologized to her for the way his staff treated her as well as the lamestream press. (She is more popular than them too) Sarah says that McCain told her many times since the election that she had been good for his campaign and she is surprised that he has turned on her.

She is probably the only one that’s surprised. There had been speculation many times that McCain would switch parties but in the end, he decided against becoming a Republican.

    From The Daily Mail

Palin said it’s possible that McCain himself doesn’t believe she was a drag on his White House aspirations a decade ago, but that hangers-on in his inner circle could be presuming to speak for him.

‘I attribute a lot of what we’re hearing and reading regarding McCain’s statements to his ghostwriter or ghostwriters,’ she explained.

‘I don’t know all the details of his condition right now. It happens to me also where people speak for me and a bell is rung, and you can’t un-ring the bell.’

‘I don’t know unless I heard it from Sen. McCain myself,’ she said.

Palin seems to be hurt pretty badly by McCain’s remarks. She has remained faithful to him even when his opponent was much closer to her ideology than he was. She has learned a very harsh lesson. Never trust a liberal.
