In a press briefing on Wednesday, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre skillfully deflected multiple inquiries concerning the discovery of cocaine within the White House earlier in the week.

Jean-Pierre maintained a tight-lipped approach, refusing to disclose the specific location within the West Wing where the cocaine was found or divulge details about the nearest entrance to the area in question.

Citing the ongoing investigation by the Secret Service, Jean-Pierre emphasized the need to provide space for their work in determining how the illicit drug found its way into the White House.

She reminded the press that the president, first lady, and their family were not present at the White House over the weekend, as widely reported, having departed on Friday and returned just the previous day. Jean-Pierre further specified that the area where the cocaine was discovered is heavily traversed by visitors to the West Wing, without offering further specifics.

Amidst the questioning, Fox News White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich sought to gauge the president’s determination in uncovering the identity of the individual responsible for bringing illegal drugs into the White House.

Jean-Pierre maintained that the Secret Service, operating within their jurisdiction, is diligently working to get to the bottom of the matter, and that is what truly matters.

Heinrich persisted, directing her question towards the president’s personal resolve. However, Jean-Pierre reiterated that President’s Biden considers the investigation to be of paramount importance, as evidenced by the Secret Service’s involvement and their commitment to unraveling the events of the weekend.
