During a recent episode of “The View,” co-host Whoopi Goldberg expressed a strong opinion regarding the potential re-election of Donald Trump in 2024. Goldberg, known for her forthright views, suggested that if Trump were to win again, it would reflect a collective failure of the electorate to make their voices heard sufficiently. “If he gets re-elected, we deserve what we get,” she stated, implying that a Trump victory would indicate a lack of adequate opposition or strength in the democratic process.

Sunny Hostin, another co-host on the show, shared her concerns about Trump, fearing that his re-election could lead to significant harm to the country. Joy Behar, also a panelist on “The View” and a known critic of Trump, emphasized her stance against voting for him. Behar commented on the changing global political climate, referencing Argentina’s president-elect Javier Milei and labeling him a “fascist,” expressing her deep concerns for the United States.

Earlier in the month, Behar boldly invited Trump to challenge the show’s hosts if he were to return to power, following reports suggesting Trump’s potential plans for retribution against those who opposed him during his previous term. She cautioned Trump’s supporters about the risks of supporting someone she perceives as vengeful.

In a conversation with Hillary Clinton, who appeared on “The View,” Behar reiterated her belief that Clinton won the popular vote in the 2016 election, despite Trump’s victory in the Electoral College. Behar clarified her statement, underscoring her acceptance of Trump’s administration’s legitimacy but critiquing the Electoral College system, advocating for a system that reflects the popular vote more closely.
