Hundreds turned out to a counter-protest over the weekend against a “right-wing” rally being held by a group called Patriot Prayer. The Portland Police Bureau stated that the crowd became “violent and criminal,” and confiscated a lot of weapons. Protesters were caught throwing smoke devices and many other projectiles at the crowd and at officers.
