Affirmations, hormone treatment, and “early” transgender surgeries are “crucial” for the overall health of children and teens who claim to identify as transgender and nonbinary, claimed the administration of President Joe Biden in a release put forth on Thursday.
The White House highlighted a resource sent from the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health on “Transgender Day of Visibility” that was intended to “inform parents and guardians, educators, and other persons supporting children and adolescents with information on what is gender-affirming care and why it is important to transgender, nonbinary, and other gender expansive young people’s well-being.”
The phrase ‘gender-affirming care‘ is one that is utilized by transgender activists and media to try and obfuscate the far more grisly sounding transgender bottom and top surgeries, which includes the removal of a biological woman’s breasts, the removal of a biological man’s genitals, the sculpting of a fake penis onto a biological woman, the feminization or masculinization of facial features, and much more.
Hormones, social affirmation, and puberty blockers are also slated to fall under the “gender-affirming care” tag.
Lawmakers, commentators, people who claim to identify as transgender, and other people who have formerly tried to transition have put out grave concerns about how hard they seem to be encouraging children and young people to explore these extreme transitions of any kind.
“Gender-affirming care is a supportive form of healthcare,” claimed the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health release. “It consists of an array of services that may include medical, surgical, mental health, and non-medical services for transgender and nonbinary people.”
“For transgender and nonbinary children and adolescents, early gender-affirming care is crucial to overall health and well-being as it allows the child or adolescent to focus on social transitions and can increase their confidence while navigating the healthcare system,” stated the messaging from the White House.
However, the White House has claimed that these affirmations, transgender surgeries, and hormones are incredibly important due to the idea that these procedures have been “shown to increase positive outcomes for transgender and nonbinary children and adolescents.”
“Gender-affirming care is patient-centered and treats individuals holistically, aligning their outward, physical traits with their gender identity,” continued the messaging sheet from the White House.
This series of releases crop up amidst massive national controversy concerning whether children should be able to even obtain such procedures. Putting himself in the cross-hairs of the Leftist Twitter mob, Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has called such transgender treatments forced on kids to be “child abuse.”
In early March on “DeTrans Awareness Day,” people who had at one time started the transition process flooded social media with their de-transition stores, sharing stores of depression, anxiety, and fear.
