Old Uncle Joe has reportedly been trying to strongarm Mexico to take back migrants from various Latin American countries from the Title 42 coronavirus expulsion order that the administration has been adamant to end in the public eye as some Republican governors have started to once again ship these illegal immigrants into Democrat-controlled areas.
A report from Reuters claimed that the administration is putting pressure on Mexico to take in the migrants from Nicaragua, Cuba, and Venezuela because of the difficulty of officially deporting them from the U.S.
The report indicated that the historic 1.8 million migrant arrests by themselves for the fiscal year 2020 punctuated the “political liabilities” spawned by the intense crisis taking place at the southern border, which quite a few experts claim was spawned by the lack of border enforcement and incentives from the administration.
It also claimed that many Biden admin officials seem to think that the use of Title 42 is just a way to deter migrants from making the crossing of the U.S. border illegally “even if it contradicts the Democratic Party’s more welcoming message toward migrants.”
Reportedly, Mexico wants nothing to do with the flood of migrants from the other three countries due to those nations also pushing back extremely hard against having to deal with deportation flights from Mexico.
The report went on to state that El Paso, which it made sure to point out was a “Democrat-controlled city,” “has contracted charter buses to carry migrants north to New York City, an effort that comes after the Republican governors of Texas and Arizona drew national attention by busing thousands of migrants to Democrat-led northern cities.”
The report continued to explain that the administration was also placing pretty hefty pressure against both the Dominican Republic and Panama to take on migrants.
The report comes just after this past Wednesday when Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) finally went through with a promise to cart illegal aliens to a Democrat-controlled area by making use of a pair of plans to transport them to Martha’s Vineyard, an island in Massachusetts, that is known to be the home to quite a few wealthy leftists such as former President Barack Obama.
“Yes, Florida can confirm the two planes with illegal immigrants that arrived in Martha’s Vineyard today were part of the state’s relocation program to transport illegal immigrants to sanctuary destinations,” explained one official for DeSantis’ office in a release. “States like Massachusetts, New York, and California will better facilitate the care of these individuals who they have invited into our country’ by incentivizing illegal immigration through their designation as ‘sanctuary states’ and support for the Biden Administration’s open border policies.”
The statement went on to state, “As you may know, in this past legislative session the Florida Legislature appropriated $12 million to implement a program to facilitate the transport of illegal immigrants from this state consistent with federal law.”
