A Democratic congressional candidate in California claims that Rep. Mike Garcia, a Republican, owes the Pelosi family an “apology.”?

Christy Smith, who is running for Congress in California, has called Garcia’s views “abject degeneration.”

Democrat congressional candidate, Christy Smith of California, has claimed that her Republican opponent, Rep. Mike Garcia, owes an apology to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her family following the alleged assault on her husband, 82-year-old David DePape, at their San Francisco home early on Friday morning.

“I’m just calling it like I see it. My opponent’s actions, Representative Mike Garcia, directly contribute to extremist groups’ radicalization and subsequent brutality, “Smith tweeted on a Friday at about 3:00 p.m. “You owe an apology to Mr. Pelosi and his family, Mike. The citizens of our country are better than your disgusting politics, which they do not deserve.”

Smith shared a recording from a radio show in which Garcia supposedly labeled House Speaker Nancy Pelosi “evil.”

“For all of her other faults, Nancy Pelosi’s inherent badness is the root of the problem. There is simply no way around it. There’s simply no other way to explain it. “The tape features what appears to be an assertion by Garcia. “To put it bluntly, she is not an idiot. She is not a naive person. She has excellent political acumen. Most importantly, she does not care about the country’s welfare. When it comes to her celebration, she just wants the finest.”

Garcia reacted by calling Smith’s remarks “shameful.”

“I pray for Paul Pelosi, and I strongly disagree with acts of violence. I am sickened by this act of violence, especially after seeing volunteers of my beaten and hearing death threats against my loved ones. We must ensure accountability from these people, “A quote from Garcia. “It’s disgusting that opportunists like @ChristySmithCA would politicize this for their own advantage. The U.S. public has had enough of the bloodshed. Law enforcement is essential, and we must back them up and tolerate nothing less than strict conformity to the law. Paul Pelosi has my deepest sympathies.”

A “gaslighting perpetrator,” Smith tweeted in response to Garcia.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul, was attacked with a hammer at their San Francisco home early Friday morning.

Police Chief William Scott of San Francisco stated that David DePape, 42, has been arrested and charged with many felonies following an incident that happened sometime after 2 a.m. DePape is accused of attempted murder, assault with a dangerous weapon, elder abuse, burglary, and other offenses.

According to Scott, police arrived to find DePape and Paul Pelosi fighting over a hammer, and according to Scott, DePape took the weapon away from Pelosi and “violently attacked” him.

During the incident, the suspect reportedly said, “Where is Nancy, where is Nancy?” according to a Fox News report citing a law enforcement source.

Officers eventually tackled DePape and arrested him. The police are looking for a plausible explanation.

Two independent sources have confirmed that Paul Pelosi was the intended victim of the attack and was severely battered, sustaining both head and body injuries. He has several injuries and is being treated for everything from extreme swelling to bruises.

Multiple federal authorities, including the FBI and the San Francisco Police Department, are looking into the incident.
