There is evidence that Mrs. Alcindor does not qualify to vote in Florida since she resides in the District of Columbia.
Left-wing legacy media correspondent Yamiche Alcindor was accused of voting illegally in Florida, despite the fact that she and her husband make their permanent home in the nation’s capital.
Based on Alcindor’s online declaration from 2017 that she “moved” to Washington, D.C., her husband’s voting record, and other evidence, the American Accountability Center last week filed a complaint requesting Florida to investigate her for potentially unlawfully voting in the Sunshine State.
For the purpose of determining whether or not Mrs. Yamiche Leone Alcindor has voted unlawfully in the Florida elections, I am writing today on the part of the American Accountability Foundation to urge that you promptly launch an inquiry into her. According to the records available to the public, Mrs. Alcindor does not meet the residency requirements to vote in Florida since she resides in the District of Columbia. Mrs. Alcindor is a registered voter in Florida and has cast ballots there despite this.
The American Accountability Foundation stated that if evidence of illicit voting was uncovered in Florida, “Mrs. Alcindor should be removed from the Florida voter registers and referred to the proper law enforcement agency to evaluate if a criminal investigation is needed.”
Some news: I traveled to D.C. this week to examine social safety net concerns and how Trump’s administration affects common people,” Alcindor tweeted on January 13, 2017, and the organization emphasized this tweet.
The lawsuit states that just one of three possibilities is viable. This “appears exceedingly improbable and is refuted by documentary evidence,” as the American Accountability Foundation put it because Alcindor resides in Florida while her spouse is in Washington, D.C. Second, both Alcindor and her husband Nathaniel Cline are Floridians, making it highly improbable that Mr. Cline is casting an unlawful ballot in Washington, D.C. The complaint states that a third “probable solution” is that “Alcindor resides in the District of Columbia but is exploiting the comfort of a property in Miramar, Florida, to proceed to vote in the state of Florida while not being a resident.”
According to the lawsuit, “Mrs. Alcindor is unlawfully registered to vote in the State of Florida and has illegally voted in that state.”
On Friday, an NBC News representative assured The Federalist that Alcindor had done nothing wrong.
The spokeswoman explained that Yamiche abides by all applicable state voting regulations and absentee voting requirements since Florida is her only place of legal residency.
