In May, Republican attorneys general in Louisiana and Missouri sued the Biden administration.
To better comprehend allegations that they worked with social media corporations to limit dialogue on the subjects of the coronavirus and other sensitive matters, a federal judge has ordered the deposition of Dr. Anthony Fauci and other officials from the Biden administration.
To prevent the White House from making potentially damaging claims about the coronavirus, Republican attorneys general in Louisiana and Missouri filed a case alleging “collusion,” as noted by U.S. District Judge Terry Doughty.
Evidence presented by the plaintiffs suggests that Dr. Fauci has worked through intermediaries and on behalf of others to seek the social media suppression of real scientific opinions, even if Dr. Fauci demonstrates that he has never participated in social media platform censorship. Doughty was appointed to this post by Trump’s predecessor before Trump’s inauguration. Even if Dr. Fauci just acted as a middleman or agent on behalf of others, the plaintiffs believe that it is relevant to their preliminary injunction argument. A ruling in your favor was handed down by the judge.
Along with current and past White House officials like Fauci, former White House press secretary Jen Psaki will be invited to testify.
Missouri and Louisiana filed a federal lawsuit in May, claiming that the Biden administration “pressured and colluded” with Big Tech social media companies to censor and suppress information about the Hunter Biden laptop story, the COVID-19 origins, and the security of voting by mail during the pandemic.
After “discovering proof of a collusive connection between the Biden Administration and social media businesses to crush free expression,” Schmitt said in a statement issued the following Monday, “we swiftly submitted a petition to bring these persons under oath.” The court’s decision improves our position as we lobby the proper authorities to warn the American people about the censorship effort. We will continue to try others until we discover the right one.
Schmitt was quizzed about the study on a September episode of “Varney & Co.” and said he believed the results pointed to a “huge censoring campaign.”
At least 45 members of the Biden administration “were continuously talking with these social media platforms to censor and repress expression, had weekly conversations, censorship calls, and these social media platforms were modifying terms of service to deplatform persons,” as Schmitt puts it. It has been stated that Facebook representatives said something to the effect of, “Hey, we have done what you requested, what more can we do?” to the U.S. surgeon general.
Fox News Digital tried to get in touch with Fauci’s office and the White House many times but never heard back.
