In an act that freaked out a large group of animal activist protesters, many of whom has thrown fake blood all over the storefronts of the Dior, Nike, and Louis Vuitton stores in Manhattan, one man walked up to the group and calmly consumed his shish kebab directly in front of them.
His mere presence in front of them with his tasty snack of meat seemed to spark an explosion of chaos and incendiary comments. As highlighted on social media via Twitter user @ViralNewsNYC, one video clip of the incident shows people rushing forward to scream loudly in the man’s face for the transgression of enjoying a snack near them.
“You’re disgusting. Who do you think you are? You’re a coward, you’re just a f***ing coward!” spouted one of the women in attendance who would later identify herself as one of the organizers of the yearly Animal Rights March. “You’re a piece of s*** and you’re embarrassing. What am I going to do? Nothing, you’re going to die on your own.”
Another person from the protest rushed up to complain, “You and your small d*** and your p**** way of killing animals and it feels good in front of the vegans, huh?”
This response only seemed to prompt the man eating the shish kebab to lick the meat on his snack all the more avidly.
“You have all the blood on your face and on your hands,” exclaimed the almost rabid protesters. “It feels good with your small d***.”
“Shame, shame, shame,” another woman shouted as she jumped in.

Representatives from NYCLASS, PETA, and the Humane Society were in attendance at the event, reported the Daily Mail.
“I’m here because this is our chance as animal rights activists to come together once a year to celebrate our movement, to let the world know we are taking a stand together against speciesism, which is the idea that humans are superior to animals and we have the right to use them for our purposes,” stated the director of outreach for PETA, Ashley Byrne. “And I think what we all want out of being here today is for people to think about their relationship and to realize that animals are individuals. There were created for their own purpose; they are thinking, feeling individuals just like us.”
Many people responded to the incident via social media, applauding the man with statements such as “Somebody get that man a beer to go with his shish kabob,” “This hero deserves an @alexstein99 award,” and “This would be me if I lived in NYC. I’d bring 50 of my buddies and have a giant BBQ. Dude … is a stud!!”
Back in March of 2018, a group of animal rights activists based in Toronto were taking part in their fourth demonstration trying to go after a game-themed restaurant called Antler Kitchen and Bar finally got a response they did not expect to get: one of the owners of the establishment, who was also an established chef, brought forth a deer leg to a table right next to the front window of the establishment and began carving it up directly in line of site of the protesters.
One banner carried by the protesters read “Murder” in bright, large, hot pink letters; another protestor held another sign which read “please add vegan steak to the menu.”
Michael Hunter, the co-owner in question who is known to be a hunter of both moose and deer with a crossbow, did not just carve up the leg, but then sat down to eat the meat in front of them.
