The Democrats keep making their pitches and President Trump keeps hitting them over the fence.

First, it was the FBI, then Mueller on Russian Collusion, then there was the emoluments lawsuit that got tossed out of court and the newest on is from the Southern District of New York that was investigating the campaign violations by Trump’s companies. This was the latest greatest hope for those suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Now, CNN is reporting that the investigation is over and no charges are expected to come out of the probe. Better luck next time you TDS clowns.

From The Blaze  – CNN exclusively reported Friday:

For months, federal prosecutors in New York have examined whether company officials broke the law, including in their effort to reimburse Michael Cohen for hush-money payments he made to women alleging affairs with his former boss, President Donald Trump.

In recent weeks, however, their investigation has quieted, the people familiar with the inquiry said, and prosecutors now don’t appear poised to charge any Trump Organization executives in the probe that stemmed from the case against Cohen.

While CNN cautioned the investigation has not formally concluded, and prosecutors could revive it should new evidence surface, there has been no contact between Trump Org officials and SDNY prosecutors in more than five months.

The investigation was launched out of the campaign finance investigation involving President Donald Trump’s former personal attorney, Michael Cohen, who allegedly made hush-money payments to two models who alleged they had affairs with Trump.

Cohen plead guilty to two counts of campaign finance violations last year related to the payments he made on behalf of Trump. According to investigators, Cohen was later reimbursed by the Trump Organization. Investigators launched their inquiry to determine if Trump Org executives violated campaign finance laws with the reimbursement payments paid to Cohen.
