Nearly 87,000 illegal aliens entered the United States across the southern border in October without being apprehended. Thousands more may have crossed the border unnoticed; the amount known to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is perhaps the tip of the iceberg.
Border Patrol detained more than 68,000 unlawful border crossers and immigrants with criminal records along the U.S.-Mexico border during the past two fiscal years. This high number of escapees shows that many criminal illegal aliens are fleeing capture each month.
“Agents have grounds to suspect those with criminal records or on the terror watch list are among those going through,” said FAIR President Dan Stein in a statement.
The data suggest that the Biden administration released around 105,000 border crossers and illegal aliens into the interior of the United States as part of its large Catch and Release network, excluding those who escaped capture.
This accounted for about half of the overall apprehensions for the month, bringing the preliminary total to at least 192,000 border crossers and illegal aliens who infiltrated American communities in October. This population is more than three times the size of the people of Sarasota, Florida.
Stein continued that protecting Americans and our interests is the federal government’s foremost concern. “Vice President Biden and Secretary Mayorkas have repeatedly, deliberately, and knowingly neglected their responsibilities. “The open-borders policies of the Biden administration are solely responsible for this extraordinary population growth.”
This is material that the American people have a right to acquire within what was once considered a traditional time frame, “Stein explained. According to Stein, the Biden administration could no longer conceal its conduct by postponing the release of its figures until after business hours in the second week of the following month.
According to prior estimates, between February 2021 and August 2022, the Biden administration released about 1.35 million illegal border crossers and immigrants back into American neighborhoods after a brief detention.
No one knows the number of illegal immigrants, and border crossers permitted to enter the United States interior in September.
Should the Republicans take control of the House and Senate in this week’s midterm elections, Stein has suggested they seek impeachment proceedings against DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
According to Stein, Secretary Mayorkas “continues to disregard our nation’s immigration laws” and “abandoned policies of the previous administration” intended to safeguard Americans and the nation’s borders.
The future Congress should consider impeaching Mayorkas based solely on this reason.
