The Union and their leaders, such as Richard Trumka, will stick with the Democratic party in the upcoming election… But the rank and file, not so much. A recent poll of 1,000 blue-collar workers, found they prefer life under Trump, rather than life under Obama.
The workers preferred President Trump over Obama by 55% to 45%. It shouldn’t even be that close. Obama killed so many jobs with his endless regulations and deranged environmental policies. High paying union jobs are roaring back under businessman Donald Trump. Trumka said last week, his union would be backing the Democrats again. What he should have said was that leadership would back them.
The vast majority, 85 percent, said their lives are headed in the right direction and 69 percent said their local communities are on the right track. A majority of 51 percent of blue-collar workers said the United States is headed in the right direction under Trump.

About eight in ten blue collar workers say they are optimistic about their future and that the harder Americans work, the more successful they will be. Even more,86 percent of blue-collar workers say they are satisfied with their jobs and 91 percent are “proud” of the hard work they do.
Roughly 70 percent of blue-collar workers say the American dream is alive for working and middle class Americans like themselves.
The optimism of America’s blue-collar workers comes as Trump has sought to revitalize economic patriotism in the U.S. economy through immigration enforcement and tariffs to protect American industry and jobs
Believe it or not, manufacturing is a national security issue. One needs to only look at our Civil War to understand. Though outmanned, the South was actually getting the better of the North for the most part until Gettysburg. The South had very little manufacturing and had to scramble in order to produce what they needed to fight the war. The one thing the South had the North needed was sugar. Hawaii had been dependent on whaling. But by the time the war rolled around, whaling was a dying industry. Many businessmen had pulled their money out of whaling and began to grow sugar cane. Finally, they were then able to supply the North’s needs.
Thanks to President Trump, manufacturing is making a huge comeback.
