In a grand gesture of support and appreciation, Bud Light has announced a substantial commitment of $3 million in educational scholarships dedicated to the families of fallen or disabled first responders. This move not only solidifies Anheuser-Busch’s longstanding partnership with the non-profit organization, Folds of Honor but also expands it to include collaborative efforts with the National Football League.

The partnership with the NFL is set to bring forth a series of local team activations, in-game scholarship presentations, and a variety of content throughout the 2023-2024 season, all aimed at paying tribute to first responders. This collaboration reflects Bud Light’s unwavering commitment to giving back to those who have given so much.

The scholarship application portal is now open until November 26, exclusively catering to the families of fallen or disabled first responders. This initiative is a testament to Bud Light and Folds of Honor’s commitment to supporting the heroes who play a vital role in our communities.

Since the inception of their partnership, Anheuser-Busch brands and affiliates have generously contributed $21.7 million to Folds of Honor, resulting in the provision of 51,000 scholarships, thereby making a tangible difference in the lives of many.

Todd Allen, Bud Light’s VP of Marketing, expressed his admiration for first responders, stating, “Each moment, our nation’s heroes demonstrate extraordinary bravery and devotion to their communities and country. Bud Light is immensely proud to join forces with the NFL and its extensive network of teams and communities across the country. Together, we stand with Folds of Honor in honoring these courageous individuals and extending our support to their families, who also bear the weight of sacrifice.”

An NFL spokesperson also chimed in, highlighting the critical role that first responders play in maintaining the safety and well-being of our communities. They expressed gratitude for their selfless service and enthusiasm about the collaborative effort with Bud Light and Folds of Honor to spotlight valuable resources available to first responders and their families.

Lt. Col. Dan Rooney, CEO of Folds of Honor, expressed his enthusiasm for deepening the organization’s partnership with both Anheuser-Busch and the NFL. He underscored the importance of this collaboration in reaching new scholars and making a profound impact on the lives of first responders’ families through essential educational support.

In sum, Bud Light’s initiative is a powerful tribute to the heroes who safeguard our communities, demonstrating a commitment to not only honor their bravery but also to provide tangible support to their families in their time of need.
