Fox News Apologizes for Premature Obituary Graphic for Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Fox news has had to apologize for a graphic that appeared on their show that showed that Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was dead.

They blamed it on an error in the control room. Something seems a little fishy about the story. No, I’m not saying that Ginsburg is dead and the media is covering it up. I’m questioning why they had the graphic ready to roll in the first place. Is she sicker than we thought and was Fox News getting prepared?

Maybe. There are rumors that Ginsburg contracted pneumonia, a common occurrence after any lung surgery. But I do not advise anyone to subscribe to rumors.

    From The Washington Examiner

Fox News apologized Monday morning after accidentally displaying a screen that appeared to be a prepared graphic for the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

“We need to apologize,” “Fox & Friends” host Steve Doocy said. “At the beginning of [co-host Ainsley Earhardt]’s interview with the professor, a technical error in the control room triggered a graphic of Ruth Bader Ginsburg with a date on it. That was a mistake, that was an accident. We believe she is still at home recovering from surgery.”

The “in memoriam” graphic flashed right after a commercial break and read: “Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg 1933-2019.”

At the time immediately following the surgery, Supreme Court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg said that the 85-year-old justice is “resting comfortably.”

The nodules were first discovered after Ginsburg fell and fractured three ribs in November.

Ginsburg is the oldest sitting Supreme Court justice and has had her fair share of medical issues. About a decade ago she survived pancreatic cancer, which has a very low survival rate.
