Here’s What The FBI Thinks of the Hillary Dossier, According To Bruce Ohr

Yesterday, Bruce Ohr spoke to lawmakers behind closed doors. On many of his answers he used the Hillary defense, “I don’t recall”. But on some other important questions, his answers told us a lot about how dishonest the FBI is.

One, in particular, comes to mind and that’s the opinion the FBI had of the Hillary Dossier. Ohr said the FBI didn’t think the dossier was factual. Well, if that’s the case, why did they use it to get a FISA warrant against Carter Page? They did it so they could spy on the Trump campaign and try to find a way to stop him.

    From The Washington Times

Justice Department official Bruce Ohr told House lawmakers on Tuesday that the FBI doubted the credibility of a salacious anti-Trump dossier used to obtain a surveillance warrant for a member of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign team, according to a key Republican.

“Not only did the FBI know the dossier was unverified, but they also knew there were real credibility issues where it would never end up in a courtroom,” said Rep. Mark Meadows, North Carolina Republican.

The disclosure is the latest twist in the complicated saga of Mr. Ohr, a career Justice Department official with close ties to those responsible for creating and disseminating the dossier full of unproven allegations about President Trump’s ties to Russia.

Mr. Ohr, a nearly 30-year veteran of the Justice Department, had a longtime relationship with British spy Christopher Steele, who created and circulated the dossier. His wife, Nellie Ohr, is an employee of Fusion GPS, the firm that was paid by Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee to compile the dossier.

When you apply for a FISA warrant, you must sign and attest you have given the judge all the facts. By law. Also that they have been verified. If the FBI doubted the facts inside the dossier it would seem to put Yates, McCabe, and Comey in a world of hurt. It means they knowingly lied. Not only that, but the FBI knew Nellie Ohr worked at Fusion GPS. Finally, never mentioning it to any of the judges. So, they committed crimes of submission and omission. Lock them up.
