Ivanka Trump, an unbelievable successful woman, was to give a speech at a Connecticut school which resulted in many parents actually pulling their kids from school that day.

It all happened at Norwalk High School, where she made a surprise visit. She was to speak to kids at the Norwalk Early College Academy, which allows students interested to get a jump start on their software engineering education.

Due to security concerns, the visit was kept on the down-low but when their Left parents got wind of it, they were upset.

“This should have been brought to our attention, although I do understand security reasons,” parent Karey Fitzgerald told News 12. “I think we should have had the choice to send our child to school or keep them home.”

Part of Ivanka’s speech was the importance of a career education, which is something she’s spent quite some time pushing for all around the country.

“To see the passion and enthusiasm for bringing real-life skills into a classroom environment but then coupling it with real-life experience through internship creates this really beautiful virtuous angle,” she says.

As reported by The Washington Post:

Speaking on a panel, “Inspiring Women: Scaling Up Women’s Entrepreneurship,” Trump was cool and collected when asked about her role in the Trump White House. And despite the curt moderator’s attempt to scold Trump, saying, “some attitudes toward women your father has displayed might leave one questioning whether he’s such an empowerer for women,” Trump still proved successful in defending the president. Imagine if that same statement had been directed at Chelsea Clinton about her father, former president Bill Clinton.

The moderator would have been chastised. But when directed at President Trump, the moderator was praised and Ivanka Trump was greeted with boos.

Both as an entrepreneur and a White House adviser, Trump is a unique asset. She has the president’s ear and has proved, by all accounts, to be calm, poised and capable. Even prior to receiving her formal White House position, Trump back-channeled with members of Congress during the transition on the issues of child-care tax credits and paid maternity leave legislation.

And, as White House press secretary Sean Spicer has noted, Trump is providing “input on a variety of areas that she has deep compassion and concerns about, especially women in the workforce and empowering women.” But for the rancorous crowd of vindictive anti-Trumpers, Ivanka Trump’s demonstrated commitment to female empowerment fell on deaf ears. Nothing she could have said would have appeased the eco-euro-leftist phonies in the crowd.
