Even John Brennan’s partner in crime is ready to admit that John Brennan is totally unhinged. He has even accused the president of treason because he did not declare war on Russia.
That’s hilarious considering any Russian interference happened on Brennan’s watch and Obama and Brennan surrendered to Russia. If Trump is as Brennan says in Putin’s hip pocket, then Brennan is in his tighty whities. And he likes it. Clapper told Jake Tapper that Brennan’s hyperbole is a real problem and in all likelihood has contributed to the problem. Clapper is also on Trump’s list to possibly lose his security clearance.
Brennan has been among the most vocal Obama administration critics of Trump. He has accused the Republican of being “treasonous.”
The administration is also considering revoking security clearances for Clapper, former FBI Director James Comey, Michael Hayden, Sally Yates, Susan Rice, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page and Bruce Ohr.
Despite his criticism on Sunday, Clapper was among 12 former intelligence community officials who issued a letter on Thursday in support of Brennan.
“You don’t have to agree with what John Brennan says (and, again, not all of us do) to agree with his right to say it, subject to his obligation to protect classified information,” the retired officials wrote.
But they don’t keep it safe. Both Brennan and Clapper have now admitted to leaking classified material to the press and they are now contributors to the same organizations they leaked too. Since the Obama administration, no one takes leaking seriously anymore. Hillary started the fad.
But we all know that’s not quite the end of the story. We know more is to come from the Brennan debacle and let’s hope Trump sticks to his guns regarding the whole issue. He’ll come out on top.
