93rd State District Judge Rodolfo “Rudy” Delgado (D-TX) has been arrested after a several-months-long and widespread investigation conducted by local law enforcement as well as the Federal Bureau of Investigation comes to a close.
The Monitor, a local media outlet in the area, reported that “dozens of FBI Special Agents descended upon the Judge’s offices,” and the activity was confirmed by Sheriff Eddie Guerra:

Local law enforcement, Texas Rangers, the FBI and even the Texas Department of Public Safety have all been confirmed as assisting in the case, according to CBS 4.
Rumors have been swirling for months that a state judge was facing a federal indictment throughout the entire county.
Delgado is currently running for a spot on the 13th Court of Appeals and it has been noted that his son, former Hidalgo County Assistant District Attorney Ricco Diaman Delgado, who was found dead in an Austin creek had several run-ins with law enforcement, in what’s been called a “Crime family tied to Mafia dealings across Texas.”

Judge Rudy Delgado is the presiding judge of the 93rd State District Court. In this position, he hears any type of state court cases including civil and criminal matters. As a Democrat incumbent, Delgado ran unopposed in the 2016 general election and is currently registered with the Texas Secretary of State website as a Democratic candidate for Justice of the 13th Court of Appeals Place 4.
McAllen Attorney Al Alvarez confirmed to Breitbart Texas and to other news outlets that he would be representing Delgado who he said is in custody. Delgado will likely go before a U.S. Magistrate Judge on Monday at the federal courthouse in McAllen.
