    Reps Mark Meadows and Jim Jordan are requesting the documents about Russian interference from the Obama era. The pair sen a letter to the head of the DHS, Kirstjen Nielsen, asking for a pile of documents produced by the Obama administration.

    At that time, DHS Jeh Johnson went to congress to testify, along with President Obama’s National Security Advisor Lisa Monaco and then-FBI Director James Comey. At that time the Obama administration told lawmakers that they were controlling the Russian attempts and that they had been unsuccessful. So, what changed? Donald Trump won the presidency is what.

    Now, we are being told they were successful in defeating Hillary. The documents could shed a whole lot of light on the subject. Light that the liberals in congress don’t want.

    From The Gateway Pundit

    Documents requested from Meadows and Jordan:

    1. All documents and communications created, prepared, or used for the purpose of briefing members of Congress about the threat of foreign interference in the 2016 presidential election;
    2. All documents created, prepared, or used for the purpose of briefing campaign officials about the threat of foreign interference in the 2016 presidential election;
    3. All documents and communications between or among Secretary Johnson or any other DHS employee, Director Comey or any other FBI employee, or Lisa Monaco or any other National Security Council employee referring to relating to briefing members of Congress about the Russian Government’s attempts to interfere in the 2016 election; and
    4. All documents and communications produced to the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs responsive to Chairman Johnson’s request of June 6, 2018.

    In December of 2016, Georgia accused the DHS of attempting to penetrate the state’s firewall without authorization.

    “Last month, Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp wrote a letter to Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson, in which he identified an ‘unsuccessful attempt to penetrate the Georgia Secretary of State’s firewall’ originating from a DHS-registered IP address,” a January 2017 letter written by then-Congressman Chaffetz said.

    The documents requested by Meadows and Jordan may give us an idea what evidence the Obama Administration had regarding so-called ‘Russian interference’ in the 2016 election. Also, what were officials communicating to each other?
