Dana Nessel, a Michigan Attorney General Candidate, actually told her voter base to support her bid because she doesn’t have a penis and therefore won’t be able to show it to unwilling victims.

I had to see this to believe it, folks.

“If the last few weeks have taught us anything, it’s that we need more women in positions of power, not less,” Nessel says in her ad. “So when you’re choosing Michigan’s next attorney general, ask yourself this: Who can you trust most not to show you their penis in a professional setting? Is it the candidate who doesn’t have a penis? I’d say so.”

“I want to tell you what you can expect me not to do,” Nessel continues. “I will not sexually harass my staff, and I won’t tolerate it in your workplace either. I won’t walk around in a half-open bathrobe, and I’ll continue to take all sex crimes seriously just like I did as a prosecutor.”

She then argues that having an all-female ticket is necessary, playing off the recent string of sexual harassment claims and guilts running all over the country.

I don’t know if she was just trying to be funny or if she meant it but talk about a career killer! Everything she is saying is illogical. She quite possibly cut her votes in half, whereas if she would have played this as professional she would automatically get the female vote but would have also gotten some of the male votes.

Here is some additional information about Nessel provided by Fox 2 Detroit:

Nessel is running against Republican House Speaker Tom Leonard and state Senator Tonya Schuitmaker on the democratic side, She will likely be joined by former west Michigan U.S. Attorney Patrick Miles and state Representative Tim Greimel. She’s best known for her 2012, DeBoer v. Snyder Case which took on adoption and marriage for same-sex couples in Michigan-ultimately legalizing same-sex marriage across the nation.
