The “bombs” sent to Democrats create a lot of questions and very few answers. Was it a red flag operation? I don’t know. But, from what we do know if it’s not a red flag operation, it was the work of someone incredibly stupid. First of all, the thing that makes a pipe bomb so effective is that the steel pipe fragments and causes all of the damage of the bomb. These devices were made using PVC pipe, which would disintegrate upon explosion, which defeats the purpose.
The wires on the ‘bombs” protruded from the pipe, which is another no-no. The wires are always stuffed inside the pipe. A cylindrical item could pass an X-Ray but never a cylindrical item with wires sticking out. Also, there were no detonators. The digital clock contained no alarm necessary for the device to be set off. They were delivered on the very same day, which means it was either carefully planned or just dumb luck since the devices were sent to various parts of the country.
There is not enough evidence, either way, to determine if this is a red flag operation or just some idiot who didn’t even bother to check the internet on how to build a pipe bomb. But, if it’s an idiot, they will have a line on him within just a few days, considering how thoughtless the attempt was, he or she must have made other mistakes that lead right back to them. On the other hand, if no suspect is caught, that would be suspicious. That would mean that the perp was a freaking moron in building the bombs but a genius in covering it up. That does not compute.
The bottom line is that we don’t yet have positive proof either way and we have no choice but to wait to see if the FBI arrests anyone in connection to the bombs.
