The Mooch was dismissed what? Like two months ago? And he’s already landed a new gig, fleeting as it may be. On September 22nd he will join the women of The View as part of their “Guy Friday”, where they invite men to come and discuss “hot topics”.
If you’ll recall, John Kelly fired Anthony Scaramucci just days after unloading a crude verbal tirade against other members of the president’s staff, including Reince Priebus, Mr. Kelly’s beleaguered predecessor, and Stephen K. Bannon, the chief White House strategist, in a conversation with a reporter for The New Yorker.
As reported by The Daily Wire:
The Mooch himself is pretty pumped, and he’ll have plenty to talk about. Over the last week, he’s been relentlessly teasing a new project he calls “The Scaramucci Post” on Twitter, which many in the media presume is his new venture into political commentary (the Scaramucci Post’s Twitter account only has a handful of followers so far, though, including the Mooch himself).
And reports surfaced Thursday that Scaramucci was filing a court order contesting the paternity of his newborn son, who was born just days before Scaramucci left the White House, during his tumultuous ten-day run as Communications Director. His estranged wife Deirdre is, the New York Post says, horrified by the allegation. The two are in the midst of a contentious divorce, and battling for custody of a 4-year-old son they have together.
But while he may be thrilled, some of his female co-hosts are reportedly groaning at the prospect of having to share a table with the former Trump spokesman.
Whoopi Goldberg, The View‘s resident “moderator” said she was glad she’d be absent the day he arrives. “Speaking of Mooches…he’ll be here next Friday. Ohhhhhh I’m gonna miss him,” Goldberg told the audience during Thursday’s broadcast.
