Security For Democrat Val Demings Allegedly Threw Man To The Ground At Political Event

Floridian law enforcement officials have kicked off an investigation into the allegation that security for Rep. Val Demings (D-FL), who is running the race to try and take the seat of Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), broke the law by forcefully throwing a man to the ground who was in attendance at a political event.

The investigation being carried out by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office focuses on a video clip that was obtained by Florida Politics that highlights a pair of men pushing another man around while at a meet-and-greet event at the start of this month. Security then barred the man from going into the public Harry T. & Harriette V. Moore Memorial Park at which the event was being held.

The report stated that the man seemed to be a video tracker, which is a person who follows around various politicians and asks them difficult questions.

“Security officials take potential threats and threatening behavior toward the Chief seriously,” stated Christian Slater, the communications director for Demings campaign, via a release sent out the publication that had no proof whatsoever that the man was a threat at all. “In this instance the individual did not respond to multiple requests to leave and charged at security personnel in pursuit of Chief Demings’ approaching vehicle.”

“Democrats want to defund the police but holy cow if you film them in public they’ll have their private security pummel you,” explained Matthew Foldi, a reporter, via a social media post alongside the footage of the incident.

“Holy crap!!” exclaimed Steve Guest, who was a special adviser to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), seemingly in response on social media. “Florida Democrat Val Demings’ private security team just beat the crap out of a tracker… and yes, it’s on video. What’s not on video: the vehicle Demings’ campaign claims was approaching.”

Another clip that later came to light seemed to have been taken in the wake of the man being thrown to the ground.

“In corrections I used to balance people like you off their head in the jail,” a security member stated to the man on the ground.

“Except for I don’t do bad things,” the man shot back. “I’m not one of those people. I’m just doing my job. That’s it. I’ve been good to you guys.”

“Don’t touch me,” exclaimed the security guard. “Oh my god.”

“I’ve been so good, and y’all are just being ridiculous sometimes,” the man answered. “I just want to be even keel.”

“Let’s be even keel right now,” expressed the security guard. “So don’t take it personal, alright.”

“No I’m not,” stated the man. “Everything that just happened, we’re good.”

“Going forward don’t take it personal,” repeated the guard once again.

“Take what personal?” questioned the man.

“What’s going to happen to you,” shot back the security guard.
