After being posted, all tweets and articles were swiftly deleted because they were racist, sexually aggressive, and included murder threats against politicians.
According to CNBC, the Post has published a statement indicating that an employee was responsible for the hack: “The New York Post’s investigation indicates that an employee carried out the illegal behavior, and we are taking the appropriate measures.”
A company official verified to TechCrunch that The Washington Post was hacked. The offending content was removed, and we are investigating how it got there.
