President Trump was in the swing of things after taking a little hiatus from Twitter. This time taking on both the “bogus” Russia dossier as well as the FBI, calling it “tainted”.
“WOW, @foxandfriends “Dossier is bogus. Clinton Campaign, DNC funded Dossier. FBI CANNOT (after all of this time) VERIFY CLAIMS IN DOSSIER OF RUSSIA/TRUMP COLLUSION. FBI TAINTED.” And they used this Crooked Hillary pile of garbage as the basis for going after the Trump Campaign!” he wrote.

The tweet was analyzed by Fox News reporter Todd Piro as well as Jason Chaffetz, former congressman and current contributor.
Piro asked, “Why would you brief members of the FBI before verifying the existence of collusion and really taint the entire FBI in the process?”
Chaffetz chimed in, saying: “the dossier, we have long known, is bogus.” and further commented that the dossier and it’s funding has “nefarious ties,” going on to say “perhaps even with the Clinton campaign.”
As you’ll recall, it was discovered that the dossier, compiled by Fusion GPS, has changed hands in terms of funding. We know that it was originally an unknown-Republican during the primaries in 2016 in the hopes of digging up dirt on Donald Trump.
Then, somehow, some Democrats caught wind of it and took over the “payment”. Hillary Clinton even recently defended the move, saying: “This was research started by a Republican donor during the Republican primary, and when Trump got the nomination for the Republican Party, the people doing it came to my campaign lawyer,” Clinton said on “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah.”
“He said ‘yes,’” Clinton added. “He’s an experienced lawyer, he knows what the law is, he knows what opposition research is.”
The dossier, prepped by Christopher Steel, is 35 pages long and alleges some very salacious and VERY unverified “intel” between the Trump campaign and some top-tier Russian officials.
“Clinton campaign & DNC paid for research that led to the anti-Trump Fake News Dossier. The victim here is the President.” @FoxNews” Trump wrote in an Oct. 25 tweet.
