In a post on his social-media platform, Trump shared a video showing crews draining algae-filled water from the pool, calling the cleanup part of a broader “Make DC Beautiful Again” effort. The footage was set to Andrea Bocelli’s “Time to Say Goodbye.”
Trump’s announcement follows a series of major alterations under his administration, including demolition of the old East Wing and the construction of a large new ballroom at the White House.
