Andrew McCabe, FBI deputy director, has recently announced his upcoming retirement and the President took the opportunity to, in only the way he can, drop some TRUTH BOMBS about McCabe’s potentially shady nature.
During his Tweet-storm, he referenced a Clinton-allied fundraiser which took place on behalf of McCabe’s wife, Jill McCabe, who happened to be in the race for the Virginia state Senate back in 2015.
So what’s the big deal? Well, McCabe played a big role in the investigation into the Hillary Clinton “email server” debacle — an investigation that, as we now known, wasn’t even recorded or had any notes taken. Given that, as well, McCabe DID eventually recuse himself from the investigation. Of course, this was only AFTER the financial ties between Clinton and his wife became public.

McCabe must not be too concerned, however, as he plans to work through the remainder of his time to collect his full pension benefits. McCabe remains under investigation by the Justice Department for how he handled the FBI’s probe of Hillary Clinton’s private email server.
That money came from the Virginia Democratic Party and Common Good VA, the political action committee of McAuliffe, a longtime friend and supporter of both Hillary and Bill Clinton who is now the outgoing governor of Virginia.
Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley recently called for his removal, saying he ought to go for reasons of being involved in some of the things that took place in the previous administration. We want to make sure that there’s not undue political influence within the FBI.”
And not to be outdone, POTUS even reminded us of James Baker, a top-tier FBI lawyer, who was recently accused of being an informant for the left-wing news site MotherJones.com
