Trump Teaches CNN A Lesson – Pulls Bolton Interview

Jake Tapper went on another crying attack over a decision by the Trump administration to pull John Bolton from an interview on Sunday. But the strange thing (Or not so strange) he is blaming Trump and not the one responsible, Jim Acosta. Acosta pulled his attention-grabbing shtick during a press conference with Theresa May and Donald Trump.

Some are saying that the White House should pull Acosta’s credentials but not me. I say pull CNN’s credentials. After all, they really don’t need to be there in order to make up a story. After all, Frank L Baum did not write his classic novel in the merry old land of Oz. That will make room for someone who wants to report the news and not make it.

    From The Daily Caller

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders explained in a Saturday tweet the White House’s reasoning behind John Bolton’s canceled CNN interview that was scheduled for Sunday.

Bolton had been scheduled to appear on CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday morning, but host Jake Tapper noted via Twitter that the White House had “canceled it.”

Sanders responded that a CNN reporter, presumably Jim Acosta, had “disrespected” President Trump and British Prime Minister Theresa May during their press conference Friday.

“Update: @AmbJohnBolton had been locked in for tomorrow’s @CNNSOTU. Then the president attacked CNN during his UK presser, and our WH correspondent tried to ask a question. We are told Amb. Bolton remains fully prepared to do the interview but the White House has canceled it.”

Sarah Sanders responded: “Actually a @CNN reporter disrespected @POTUS & PM May during their press conf. Instead of rewarding bad behavior, we decided to reprioritize the TV appearances for administration officials.”

Personally, I would like to see all of the grandstanders like Acosta and April Ryan get sent packing. They rarely ask a serious question and quite frankly many of the questions they ask wouldn’t be asked by a freshman on a high school newspaper.
