A waste processing facility has gone on record swearing that it does not process and incinerates fetal remains as an evolving controversy unfolds concerning the discovery of aborted baby bodies that were allegedly discovered in a crate sporting the logo of the waste facility.
Members of the Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising (PAAU) stated that they were able to intercept the box containing the dismembered babies en route to its destination at the Curtis Bay Medical Waste Center.
PAAU stated that the box held a total of 110 mostly pulverized babies who were aborted in the first trimester along with quite a few who were killed through late-term abortions.
The box was originally from Washington Surgi Center, a well-known abortion clinic located in downtown D.C., and was absolutely covered in Curtis Bay labels, claims the activists. Various photographs put forth by PAAU also show the boxes sitting on carts that do fit their given description.
Curtis Bay Medical Waste Servies has put forth a strong denial that any of these discovered boxes were taken and also denied that they dispose of fetal remains at all as aprt of a statement issued on Tuesday morning.
The company has stated that an employee for Curtis Bay took custody of the three packages from Washington Surgi Clinic back on the 25th of March and delivered all of these taken packages to an incineration facility owned by Curtis bay.
“At no time did the Curtis Bay employee hand over any of these packages to the Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising or other third party, and any allegations made otherwise are false,” claimed the statement issued.
Terrisa Bukovinac and Lauren Handy, known members of PAAU, stated in an interview that they uncovered a box full of fetal remains at the facility of Washington Surgi Center.
“We saw a medical waste truck outside from Curtis Bay Medical Waste Services,” explained Bukovinac. “Washington Surgi Center is inside a medical building, so we weren’t necessarily sure that it was what we thought it was.”
The woman spotted a driver loading the boxes into the back of the truck along with even more sitting on a cart waiting. THey state that they asked if the driver knew what was contained in the boxes, and when he stated he did not, Bukovinac proceeded to inform him, “It’s dead babies.”
“I asked him if he picks up at other abortion clinics because there were other boxes in the trunk, and he looked at the boxes and looked back at us a little panicked and he said ‘I don’t know,'” claimed Bukovinac.
“Would you get in trouble if we take one of these?” she stated she asked the truck driver, to which she claims he responded, “What would you do with them if you took one?”
After Handy stated top the driver that they planned to take steps to give the babies a “proper burial” and funeral, “he thought about it for just a second and he said, ‘Ok,’ and he gestured at the box,” Bukovinac stated. “Lauren grabbed the box, and we took it back to our apartment.”
A spokesman for Curtis Bay has continually insisted that Curtis Bay does not dispose of fetal remains and demanded evidence that the crates contained the aborted baby bodies that were photographed by Live Action.
