Andrew Grady, a driver for NASCAR, rushed at and assaulted opponent Davey Callihan through the window of Callihan’s car in the wake of an accident that ended up knocking both drivers out of the race this past Saturday at Martinsville Speedway in Virginia.
Grady made the claim that Callihan flipped him off prior to the fight, while his opponent vehemently denied that such an action took place.

“I mean, he wasn’t close. He dive-bombed me. He hooked me, and I wanted to talk to him and he flipped me off. So I started Mike Tysoning his head,” exclaimed Grady in a video captured in the wake of the incident.
You’re in a big-boy sport. When you wreck a man, you can take a grown-man ass whipping. That’s how I feel about it,” he stated while taking part in an interview.
Andrew Grady says Davey Callihan flipped him off when he went to talk so he decided to 'Mike Tyson his head.'
He says there are dumbasses who have no business driving a Lawn Mower much less a Late Model at Martinsville.

Callihan issued an entirely different view about the exchange in a response handed over to the Daily Mail.
“It was for a transfer position at Martinsville. From my perspective, I was there. It was close. But you can’t give an inch for the transfer spot when there’s 95 cars and I had to take it. It was just hard racing. I do apologize to (Grady), but we’re fighting for our life out there so I just did what I had to do,” he stated.
“I never flipped anybody off. He just comes starts punching me inside the race car, so… I understand he’s frustrated, but again it’s for the transfer spot and we were just fighting for our life,” continued Callihan.
A lengthier version of the fight video shows Grady aggressively pointing at Callihan has he drove by just prior to the fight kicking off, very clearly angry about being forced out of the race.

The copious amount of punches thrown by Grady led the video to go insanely viral, with people across social media chiming in with their opinions about what should be done in the wake of the assault.
“He should [be] suspended permanently as a nascar driver,” exclaimed one user.

Another person highlighted the fact that Callihan could barely move, let alone defend himself, while stuck inside of his car which put him at a humongous disadvantage to Grady.
“That wasn’t a fight it was an assault. The other driver can barely move in there,” he exclaimed.
“This sport was made on fights. We should have more fights. I like fights,” tacked on another tweet in contrast to the norm.
