One podcast host, Matt Walsh, has stated recently that a series of interviews carried out with left-wing gender experts do actually seem to get an accurate image of their gender ideology.
While making an appearance on “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Walsh spoke about the upcoming release of a new documentary, “What is A Woman?” that is slated to premiere on The Daily Wire this Wednesday. Carlson started the segment by showing a pair of clips from the documentary which showed Walsh talking to a “gender affirmation therapist” and a professor and pediatrician who specializes in gender transition. While in pretty apparent disbelief, Carlson questioned Walsh about if those interviews, in which the physicians go on at length about the gender ideology of the left-wing, actually took place.
“Those interviews, just those clips we showed were over-the-top, were those real?” Carlson posited of Walsh.
“I wish I could say that we invented that,” stated Walsh. “The thing is, if I was going to invent, like, a parody of left-wing gender theory, I would never think to create, you know, a therapist who tells me I am actually a woman because I like scented candles. I would have thought that’s too far. But no, this is very real, and one thing that comes out in the film is a lot of this stuff, on the surface, it’s hilarious because it’s so absurd, but then you realize … gender ideology is utterly pervasive and it’s all over the country, and what you just heard there, I mean, a therapist who will tell you that, ‘yeah, you might be a woman because you like scented candles.’ There are people who are actually confused going into these kinds of counselors and therapists and coming out even more confused, which is all by design. So there’s the absurdity on the surface and then underneath it, it’s really quite sinister.”
Carlson was stunned and even deeper into his disbelief about the second video clip, in which Walsh spoke with Dr. Michelle Forcier, the pediatrician in question. “That was a physician?” Carlson asked, exasperated. “Because she claimed puberty blockers have no long-term effects, which of course is not true, so why does she have a license still? Is she a doctor?”
“She’s a doctor and she is also — she’s a pediatrician,” explained Walsh. “She specializes in this kind of thing, working with gender confused kids, and putting them on the path to chemical castration, which is exactly what that is, by the way. We get into an exchange about this; the drug they use that they call puberty blockers is Lupron, and that drug is actually used to chemically castrate sex offenders, and they are giving it to kids. I brought that up to her in the film, and that was the first time that she threatened to get up and walk out of the room because she didn’t want to talk about it. But that is exactly what these people are doing. But what we discovered, of course, is that they don’t want to answer any questions at all about any of this, and they can’t. Gender ideology and the agenda that they have cannot withstand even the slightest scrutiny, which is sort of the point of the question, it’s ‘okay, let’s start with, let’s define our terms, what even is a woman?’ They can’t answer that. They don’t have an answer to that question.”
